Brief Background & History

Since 2013 I been providing private counseling services for a variety of populations in OC. I am a member of California Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT), and registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I am a lifetime member of the International Honor Society in Psychology PSI CHI and International Golden Key Honors Society.

I completed my undergraduate studies in Developmental Psychology at Vanguard University of Southern California graduating Summa Cum Laude. I continued my studies at Vanguard University and completed my Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology. Currently pursuing my Doctoral in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University.

I had extensive training to develop my clinical skills as a Therapist at The Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center in Anaheim, at American Family Housing in Stanton, and at Shepherd’s Grove Academy in Garden Grove.

I have provided counseling services for Adults struggling with alcohol and drug dependency, anger, depression, anxiety and mental illness. I have led women’s and men’s Process groups, Anger management groups and Grief support groups. I have provided counseling services for schools K-12 onsite for Children and Teens struggling with academic, social, and behavioral issues, Autism, anger, depression, anxiety, abuse, and trauma. Along with providing counseling for Individuals, Families, and Couples struggling with severe mental illness, financial and medical issues resulting in homelessness.

I currently stay active in my church helping with teaching in Sunday school, and Outreach Event Activities. My daily motto is “Carpe Lumen” which means to seize the light. I hope to pass that along to you as my client when you courageously “Tell me your story”.
